TULIP Award Honors ‘Bright Star’ on Shapiro 7
During a surprise ceremony on Feb. 7, Jazmynn Clark, patient care associate, was honored with a TULIP Award for providing compassionate care.
The TULIP (Touching Unique Lives In Practice) Award recognizes patient care associates, medical assistants and emergency services assistants for going above and beyond to provide outstanding, compassionate care to patients and families.
Clark was nominated by the family of a patient she cared for on Shapiro 7, Cardiac Surgery Intermediate Care. The family noted how she made their loved one feel safe and reassured with her compassion, support, care and humor.
In addition to her role at BWH, Clark is also enrolled in the nursing program at Northeastern University. The family noted, “Jazmynn will be an asset to any area of health care she pursues. She is a bright star in the future of health care!”
