Lisa Flemming, RN
L2 Procedural Recovery Unit

L2 Procedural Recovery Unit staff and nursing leaders celebrate Lisa Fleming.
“Our lab is a busy environment and can be stressful at times, and Lisa hustles to ensure we get things done quickly, efficiently and happily. She is the epitome of compassion, empathy and selflessness. Lisa brings so much light and love to our department (and lots of laughter) that we feel it is important to recognize her extraordinary work. Lisa is clear and thorough with patients without being overly confusing or cumbersome. Some of our tests require the patients to perform certain maneuvers, and she does them all with the patient…. Lisa has a true heart of gold. She is kind, caring and the biggest patient advocate — lending a helpful hand to anyone in need.”
Katrina Mansfield, BSN, RN
Neonatal ICU

Katrina Mansfield is joined by colleagues and nursing leaders for the presentation of her DAISY Award.
“Katrina is what we consider a superstar of nurses among your fantastic staff of nurses with all that she did not just for our baby, but also for us as worried parents…. Although we consider ourselves to be really great advocates, it has been so valuable to have someone like Katrina who is a medical professional who also has advocated for our baby, and we knew we didn’t need to worry while Katrina was on the schedule. She also made sure we were supported as parents especially during the tough days/nights, making sure we ate and stayed hydrated…. Katrina’s love of what she does for a living shines brightly every day. There are not enough words to describe our gratitude towards her.”
