Recognizing Our 2020 Kurlat Essence of Nursing Award Recipient and Honorees
The Kurlat Essence of Nursing Award is the highest honor presented annually to a Brigham and Women’s Hospital clinical nurse. Nurses are nominated by their peers, leaders or patients in recognition of the expert, relationship-based care they provide. Each year, one recipient and four honorees are selected.
This year’s recipient is Andrew Dundin, MSN, RN, CEN, of the Emergency Department.

Intensive Care Unit Float Pool
The award is supported in perpetuity through the generosity of Mr. Saul Kurlat in acknowledgment of the exceptional care that his late wife received from Brigham nurses.
